Spiky Beetle is an Earth-element based monster of which is located within The Death Frontier.

Appearance[]

Spiky Beetle is a very large dung-beetle, one of which that has dark brown skin and several legs. It is very thin and the sphere it has is black with yellowish brown spikes studded across its surface. This monster continuously hides behind that object and uses it to attack, and so it somewhat hard to see or hit.

Battle[]

This monster has a high defense, and when that is multiplied by Power Up, it becomes nearly the highest in the game. It has fairly low health. Its attacks aren't very potent but it can last a little while so you have to put up with several hits which can add up.

  • Dirt Prize - Kicks its sphere towards a person, smaking them for medium physical damage
  • Power Up - Increases both physical and magical attack power and both defenses of itself by a 1.5x multiplier for the duration of three turns
  • Pellet - Earth element based spell item dealing medium magical damage to a single target

Drops[]

Upon defeat, this monster may drop the spell item Attack Ball with a rare probability of 8%. This item is decent if you enjoy taking a chance or do not need specific spell items, since it will select at random an offensive spell item to use. If you do want it, the average time to obtain this is roughly 15 minutes. As always, this varies per person.
