Plague Rat is a Earth-element, powered up version of Berserk Mouse from the Forest, and has the same name for its special attack. Their version of the Berserk Mouse's Chisel can cause Arm Blocking They are immune to Poison and have a high speed, can evade attacks, and can escape from battle. They are lurking in the Shrine of Shirley and give the least xp of the enemies there. Their stats are the weakest too, but their Arm Blocking attack makes them a threat to time and resources. Finish them off, by all means, but as usual, the longer they are left in the yellow or red HP, the more chance of doing their special attack.

Battle

Plague Rats' main attack is to bite the party which deals small amount of damage. It can also sometimes avoid attacks with 120% A-AV.

• Nibble - The Berserk Mouse runs up and bite the target
• Chisel - The Berserk mouse runs up and bites a character multiple times. Deals slightly more damage than normal attack. It can transmit tiny pink-coloured "plague" particles to a party member and cause Arm Blocking on him/her
• Escape - the Mouse flees the battle

Drop

8% chance to drop a Body Purifier, which can be bought almost everywhere on Discs 1, 2, and 4.
