Mountain Ape is an Earth-element based monster which can be located within The Divine Tree.
Appearance[]
Mountain Ape is the much stronger cousin to White Ape, quite similar in appearance with the exceptions being that it has brown fur instead of white and carries a massive log instead of an ice pillar. Other than that, its physical body is still fairly large, and its eyes are red.
Battle[]
This monster is powerful and shouldn't be taken too lightly. Be wary of its attack Mudball or else you might die or at least be close to it, with its potential of easily dealing over 1000 damage. With its decently high health it could become troublesome, however, luckily it has very low magical defence. The Psychedelic Bomb X can take care of these with ease if you managed to obtain this from The Magic City, Aglis. All Wind-element based magics will be quite sufficient also, however, any magic should deal more than enough.
- Heavy Weapon - Runs towards a single target and smashes them with its log dealing high physical damage.
- Power Up - Increases both physical and magical attack power as well as both defences of itself by a 1.5x multiplier for the duration of three turns.
- Mudball - Grabs a pile of mud and throws it towards a single target, dealing massive physical damage.

Drops[]
Upon defeat, this monster may drop the healing item Angel's Prayer with an uncommon probability of 10%. This item may be very beneficial in this location if you are experiancing difficulty, especially considering the next shop isn't for a little while, and after a boss encounter. The average time required to obtain one is roughly 10 minutes, luckily. As always, this varies per person.
