The Merman is a Water-based enemy found in the Marshlands.
Appearance[]
The merman is a fish looking humanoid. It is green in color with red fins and two powerful arms. It carries a silver trident. It should be noted that a cousin enemy exists called the Aqua King.
Battle[]

This enemy can pose a threat to Dart with its magical attack. It is immune to the status Fear.
- Stab - The merman "swims" up to the party member and stabs them with its Trident
- Spear Frost - The merman uses a spear frost item which is a magic water based attack on one target
Drop[]
It drops Lavitz' starting weapon, the Spear, which has no more use, and sells for a paltry amount. All weapon drops are extremely rare drops, at 2% probability, but many of them offer the advantage of obtaining weapons far ahead of time. The first such opportunity is quite soon, on the return to Hellena, where Meru's Morning Star can be obtained before Dart's friends even meet her.
