Mantis is an Earth-element based monster, the most powerful of those located within the Prairie. It has more HP than even the Mole, its physical Defense is almost as high as the Mole, most of its stats are increased, should it use Power Up, and it can use a magic attack as well.

Appearance

This monster is a physically massive, green skinned, six legged insect-like monster. It has two curved mandibles that seem capable of a pincer attack, three toothy fangs protruding forward from the lower part of its head, and a cyclopean orange eye. Jagged points and sharp planes protrude from the top of its head. Arms jointed in the peculiar manner of a Praying Mantis emerge from its thorax. Its abdomen is slim with a tail that curves upward.

Battle

The Mantis uses a variety of moves to attack both physically and magically.

• Double Cut - The mantis's standard attack where it runs up to the target and slashes it twice with its claws
• Power Up - The mantis strengthens itself with this move gaining 1.5 times both attack and defense
• Pellet - The mantis uses a spell that functions just like the attack item pellet, dealing magic earth damage
