Glare (グレアー, Gureā, lit. "Glare") is a Water element creature which can be fought on board the Queen Fury and within the Undersea Cavern.
Appearance[]
Glare resembles an octopus with a large, green eye nearly the size of its body. It uses that enormous eye to stare at the target of its beam attack.
Battle[]

This creature has a chance to evade your attacks, with 120% A-AV. Its Magic Defense is a little higher, but otherwise unremarkable, as is its normal damage. However, the most dangerous enemy in the game may well be another party member; Astonish Eye will Bewitch a character and turn them against you (or themselves). You do a lot of damage when attacking yourself so it can get pretty bad if two of your members fall to this ailment. As with all spell casters, it will do this when it gets to or below 25% (red) health.
- Multiple Slaps - Slides towards and enemy and slaps them with all it's tentacles.
- Astonish Eye - Fires a beam out from its eye towards a single target dealing low magic damage and has a 50% chance to inflict Bewitchment. upon hit.
Do note that you can fight up to three at once, however, once two of your members are Bewitched, they will all refrain from using that attack on the third member. During this time they can still use it on the others though.

Drops[]
This creature can drop the Mind Purifier with a probability of 8%. This drop is only rare in the sense of being hard to obtain; it can be purchased at any item store for 10 gold.
