Fire Spirit is an enemy found in Volcano Villude. It is the cousin, in appearance at least, of the Specter found much later in Magical City, Aglis.
Appearance[]
The fire spirit looks like a flame that is larger on its upper torso then bottom. It has two short arms that are also made of flame.
Battle[]
Fire Spirit is immune to all Status Ailments. It also has a chance to evade attacks, with 20% A-AV. Unusually for a creature that appears so early in the game, it is tied with Hell Hound (itself a Disc 1 enemy) for second highest Magic Defense on a Fire Element monster. It can drop a Spirit Cloak after battle.
- Sneak Attack - The fire spirit flies up to a target and whips the target with its tail
- Recover - This fire spirit heals roughly 30% of its HP: 7 (US) or 9 (JAP)
