The Ancestor Blano is the ancestor and chief of the Winglies living in the Forest of Winglies in Mille Seseau.
Dart and his group meet the Ancestor Blano in his room in the Forest of Winglies.
Knowing about the difference in races and the possible fear humans harbor against the magical abilities of the Winglies, Ancestor Blano issued a ban on all individuals living in the forest to leave and establish contact to the human race.
Before the events of the game, Meru breached this rule by exploring the human world, as did the baby sister of the Bardel brothers. It is for this reason Meru is rejected and denied entrance upon returning home. However, upon realizing the Divine Dragon breaking free from its centuries-old sealing and threatening the entire world, the ancestor realizes the need to cooperate with other species to prevent the total annihilation of all races.
He welcomes Dart and his group in his room and directs them towards the Forbidden Land to retrieve the Dragon Block Staff. Upon seeing the courage of Meru and her friends, while not lifting the ban on his people to leave the forest, he tells Meru that he can see a future where Winglies and Humans will live together again in peace.
When the Divine Dragon finally breaks free and sets out to destroy Deningrad, he summons his powers to teleport Dart and his friends there. However, he fails in doing so, as his magical power alone was insufficient. With the support of Guaraha as well as Meru's parents, who come to the aid, he succeeds in sending them to Deningrad.
