Hey Vraggeol, as far as I'm aware, no a proper english translation patch or similar thing exist. That's both official and non-official btw. Sorry about that, but you could, however, read the scripts online so you can keep up with the story and recognise the item drops and so on. I would recommend using the online script though. I had just finished searching online throughout the evening infact and thats where my answer came from, but I could be wrong so don't take me to word. Once again, sorry if I couldn't have been of more assistance but I hope I helped even a bit.

And yes, the JAP version has creatures with roughly 33% more HP and money drops of around 33% less and so on. You will enjoy it.

Unfortunally, there is no known "Dub" version (replacing JP text/audio with English text/audio but keeping JP difficulty) of this game.

You don't need to understand Japanese if you're familiar with the game in your own language, especially if you play on an emulator as that is the quickest and easiest way to play it, although there is nothing wrong with wanting to acquire the JP game and console for legal reasons depending which country you live in or a true experience unadulterated with the feature of save stating, but having the ability to save states is very helpful for those pesky choice options (Shirley, Popo, Kaffi, Mayor of Lidiera, etc) and print screen is exceptionally useful for helping you find what Weapons/Armours/Accessories is what.

There is however, a difficulty modifier created by Zychronix.
