Good day to all fans of the greatest game ever!
As user "Wonder00Man" rightfully pointed out in 2020, this Wiki didn't quite match up to the quality of the game and was in a desperate need for an overhaul. About a year ago, having played through the game again after many years, I did some sort of an incomplete "cleanup rally" on this Wiki, improving a number of articles (most notably the main character articles) and creating a few new ones. Now, one year later, I felt like doing another run of that kind, finishing the work I left unfinished a year ago.
My main work was an overhaul of the main storyline/walkthrough articles for the four chapters and of many of the articles that are referenced by them. Since the "walkthrough" articles of this Wiki were either completely empty or just embedding some decade-old video walkthrough with no additional text, I allowed myself to cut these articles entirely and merged the "story" and "walkthrough" articles for the four chapters of the game together.
I re-wrote or edited the resulting four chapter articles and mostly harmonized the content with the "Story" sections of the main articles for each location. Notably, I wrote a new, short and concise "walkthrough" section into the main article of each location/dungeon. These sections are not meant to look beautiful, but to provide the reader with the minimal sufficient information and steps to get through the game. As the articles for each location contain informations about chests, monsters, shops, and so on, this Wiki can now actually be used as a walkthrough, although a simple one.
However, for more sophisticated or holistic walkthroughs, I put a short reference section to external walkthrough sources of high quality at the top the four chapter articles (particularly the extremely underrated lparchive.org walkthrough from 2012 by Alaan), since the LoD Wiki main page says "Walkthrough" when the readers are directed to the articles.
In this overhaul, these were my four main points of focus:
1. Elevating the overall quality of the articles to a level that can at least be seen as "acceptable". There is still a lot of room for improvement, but I'd say many articles are now in a presentable form and read more like an actual Wiki instead of fanfictions with questionable writing quality and inconsistent structure.
2. Reducing spoilers to the minimum and giving proper warning in the articles when a spoiler is expected. Also, in re-writing the story parts and the walkthroughs, I made sure that information is only revealed at the time the game itself reveals it.
3. Keeping the information in the articles as well as the wording and names used strictly true to the content of the game. In most cases, I removed any speculations or writer's opinions that are not sufficiently backed by what the game itself reveals. In the case a theory on some matters is reasonably plausible or there are questions unanswered by the game (e.g. Haschel being Dart's grandfather or Claire Feld dying in Neet), appropriate wording is used to show that the information is presumed or inconclusive.
4. Using as much of the existing content as possible. Some articles, sections or even just single sentences that existed were of totally accepatble quality if not outright better than my own writing, and required little to no editing. Some stuff was suboptimal but still "good enough" to keep it, hence the occasional inconsistency in the quality and style of the writing. However, it is no secret that many parts of the articles I went through had to be almost fully re-written (or written from scratch as they didn't exist yet).
By the way, I also allowed myself to deviate from the suggested Page Builds, as they appear archaic to me and are sometimes even problematic when certain sections contain a major spoiler (a notable example is Hellena Prison where I completely split the article into the First and Second Visit to prevent the spoilering of our favorite bro Lavitz's fate). My apologies, but I honestly believe it is for the better of the Wiki's quality. Location articles are now split in two main sections, "Story" and "Gameplay", with the latter section containing all the information required to actually play the game - Walkthrough, Treasure, Monsters, Stardust, and occasional extras such as hidden scenes, strategies or healing spots.
Some other notable changes I made was editing and shifting some of the category pages, and I suggested a lot of useless or confusing categories to be deleted after emptying them. Also, I redirected almost all articles for individual weapons, armor, accessories and items to the main article for weapons/armor/accessories/items, as the individual articles for equipment did not offer any useful information on top of what is found in the main article and were often poorly written or just eternal stubs with nothing more to add. As a compensation, I wrote some "guidance" sections for the main articles for equipment that summarize the most important aspects.
Lastly, I also filled the "Story" sections of the main characters, finally completing the main character articles. I limited the Story sections of the main character articles to summarizing the story elements where the character is individually highlighted to keep things simple.
Well, I guess that's it for the moment. I'd say the Wiki is now in a state which may still be far from perfect, but it is at least presentable in most parts and doesn't make you cringe or spoilers you upon reading the first few lines of most articles. There is still a lot of room for improvement (everytime I read one of the articles I edited I find a typo), but for the time being, I can sleep better as the Wiki of my favorite game is not "a damn mess" anymore as Wonder00Man pointed out. I wonder whether any admins are still active here. There is a huge chunk of pages, files and categories that should be deleted.
For the future, another interesting source to have and implement into the articles would be to use information from the official Japanese guidebook to the game. There seems to be a fan project to translate it into English, but I have no idea whether this is still an ongoing process. I guess that would be something to do in the future - however, after this effort, I think I am pretty much done with this and will go back to just enjoy the game.
And now, have a good time reading, fellow fans of the greatest game ever!

Tomokazu Seki (Dart) voices Rob Lucci. Akemi Okamura (Shana) still voices Nami (one of my favorite anime girls (who recently got the live-action treatment)). The late Tomoko Kawakami (Meru) voiced Amanda. Shin-ichiro Miki (Albert) voiced Pedro. Minoru Inaba (Hatchel) voiced King Neptune, Naguri, and Monjii. Masashi Sugawara (Kongol) voiced Porchemy. Akio Otsuka (Zieg) voices Marshell D. Teach (a.k.a. Blackbeard). Sho Hayami (Lloyd) is the narrator. Hiroaki Hirata (Phester) still voices Sanji (who also got the live-action treatment). And Mugihito (Uti) voiced Tamago.
Here is a great project to allow players to play The Legend of Dragoon on PC using Java.

Hey. I'm no longer active making videos but I still play LoD and mess around with Gameshark in my own time.
Today I noticed the Magic Shiny Bag article on this wiki still only has a screenshot of the "Shiny Bag" but not "Magic Shiny Bag"
(Yes, there are two bags. Shiny Bag is acquired in Volcano Villude, Magic Shiny Bag is acquired in Lohan after Dabas explains how it works. However, they're suppose to be the same item within the story, just like Father's Momento and Red Eye Dragoon Spirit)
So I decided to help out and uploaded an image of the "magic" one but I'm trouble actually putting it under gallery section. When I search for my file, only the image that is currently on the page shows up.
The image in question

But I'm unable to move or do anything on the large map
I was able to troubleshoot my way into it all working fine my problem now is little odd outlines in the background of my game did i mess up/miss a setting?
Is there anyone who can simplify the steps for all this i am just now getting into emulation so ofcourse nothing makes sense and i am confused. and i want to play this game so bad xD
This wiki is a fucking mess. Almost every page spoilers, unnecessary speculation, definitely one persons; personal opinion everywhere. This wiki need a complete overhaul. I’ll work on some places. Definitely gonna shove all the speculation and personal opinions into the fire. Whole weapons do not need their own page.
How are things looking since the UCP migration?

- If you use 6 codes, you'll have exactly what you want, where you want it for each character.
- If you only use the 1st one, you'll basically ADD one spell before their original set
- if you only use the 6th one, it'll just alter the 4th spell

** unclear = probably "de-transformation", for each character, so you may need the corresponding one already transformed to make it actually do something
you get additionnal "level 5" : 11 (0B), 17 (11), 23 (17), 29 (1D), 35 (23), 41 (29), 47 (2F) & 53 (35)

Kongol gets the most, because he's 1st in line

Sharanda gets NONE, because they're last in line, trying to go further than 5 gives weird stats, and at some point, it makes the game crash

If you modify Dragoon level of any character, they gain NEW SPELLS !!! And sidebonus: once activated, it's permenant, unless you use the same code again, to get back to 'normal level'

What spells you get depends on what other cheat codes you used

If you did not alter anything else, here's what happens:
- Kongol gets Fire-Dart's spells +the 1st of Haschel's
- Dart gets Hachel's spells
- Haschel gets Meru's
- Meru gets Miranda's, and they all cost 0 MP except Silver Dragoon costing the regular 80 MP
- Miranda gets Lavitz's, but her Dragoon stats are wacky (don't go further than 0B)
- Lavitz gets Rose's
- Rose gets Shana's
- Shana gets 4 Albert's Gaspless, and same as Miranda: stats are wacky, don't go further than 0B either

if you altered their spells so that everyone gets...
- ...6 spells each, all characters will get the first 2 spells of the following one (same logic)
- ...5 spells each, all characters will get the first 3 spells of the following one (same logic)
</p><p>Finally, what is eventually interesting here is that you can alter the %bonus ratio on Physical Attacks or Magical Attacks 8-)

What happens with "regular leveling" ? Same weird shit, it's meant to go from 1 to 60, but hexadecimals going from 0 to 255, it changes things
